1. A. WHEN DO I SUBMIT MY REVIEW PACKET? 
        You may submit anytime.  EPK and MySpace online reviews are immediate.  
Mail-in packets are reviewed in the order they are received, and showcases 
are allocated first-come, first-served and are limited.  See Calendar for more information.

1. B. WHERE DO I SUBMIT? 
        Submit your Application form first.  This gives us your EPK, MySpace, and web addresses 
to review your material online.  Or, you may send a picture, a cassette/CD demo, and a 
bio brief to:

    *include your email address, phone number, and mailing address.  State 
      which Class, Field, and Categories you would like to showcase.  Include your 
payment of       $39.24 for each category you apply, or pay application fee
 in the secure       shopping cart. 

2. DO THE SONGS ON MY MYSPACE PAGE OR PACKET HAVE TO BE 
ORIGINALS BY ME?
        If you are Artist (Performance Talent) class, songs can be any, from anywhere. 
Karaoke tracks are fine. Instrumentalists, your tracks must be your playing.  
You are showcasing your performance talent, so choose songs that show off your
 talent the best.

        If you are Songwriter class, YES, you MUST submit original songs by
you.  Choose a few of your best songs for review and showcasing.

3. SHOULD I GO TO A STUDIO TO RECORD A DEMO SAMPLE FOR 
MY SSNI REVIEW PACKET? 
        No. Send up to three (3) of your best performances.  You may showcase what 
you like, within your category, at SSNI.  SSNI must review at least one (1) selection. 

4. WHAT ABOUT SENDING A VIDEO?
        If you have a video, send it or link it in too. A CD or cassette demo is required;  
video is optional.

5. WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES? 
        Submit as soon as you can.  Review and Registration is first-come, first-served.  See 
CALENDAR for dates.  Be sure to pay your Application fee. 

6. WHEN WILL I HEAR ABOUT MY REVIEW STATUS (WHETHER I AM 
APPROVED)? 
        Applicants are notified of their placement status anytime after we receive your 
packet.  Overtime application rules may apply. Feel free to call

7. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT, WHEN I'M APPROVED? 
        Register for your SSN & Symposium showcase online VISA/MC.  REGISTER 
HERE

8. WHAT IF I'M NOT APPROVED? 
        You can still attend General Admission and attend the career workshops, 
Symposium, meet songwriters and artists, industry representatives, and exhibits.
        If you haven't heard about your Review status, call or email to check your review 
status. DO NOT ASSUME YOU DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT.  Check on your status. 

9. WHEN IS THE EVENT?
        The Star Search Nashville Symposium event is in July in Nashville TN.  Specific 
dates, Hotel and location are posted online here when they are confirmed. 
Reserve your room(s) when you purchase event passes and when you 
register for your showcase. 

10. WHERE ON THE SSNI WEBSITE DO I FIND OUT WHO MADE IT FOR THE 
SHOWCASES.  WHAT LINK DO I CLICK? OR WILL I BE EMAILED?
        Applicants are notified by email and/or telephone when the review panel releases 
results to us.  EPK MySpace and Review Kits review results are available immediately.  
Online reviews are expedited and usually the same day.
